I finally thrifted one of my dream pieces, and this might be one of my favorite vintage thrift hauls yet!
Come thrift with me as I share my latest secondhand treasures, from vintage home decor and unique antique-inspired finds to affordable luxury fashion. This week’s thrift haul includes 100% cashmere sweaters, a Ralph Lauren belt, a beautiful silver-plated trophy-style champagne bucket, a vintage mini pie bowl, a lion head canister, and a few other unexpected finds.
One of my favorite things about thrifting is finding high-quality pieces that have stood the test of time. Whether it’s a vintage silver-plated vessel, timeless cashmere clothing, or a unique decorative accessory, shopping secondhand is a great way to incorporate character, craftsmanship, and individuality into your home and wardrobe without paying retail prices.
A few things I look for when thrifting:
* Cashmere sweaters: I always check fabric content labels for natural fibers like cashmere, wool, linen, and silk. Quality secondhand clothing can be an affordable way to build a timeless wardrobe.
* Vintage silver plate: Silver-plated bowls, trophy cups, and champagne buckets can make beautiful decorative accents. I love repurposing vintage vessels throughout my home.
* Vintage pottery and ceramics: Unique shapes, interesting glazes, and decorative details can add character to shelves, kitchens, and styled vignettes.
* Designer accessories: Secondhand Ralph Lauren belts and other classic accessories are worth keeping an eye out for when building a wardrobe with timeless pieces.
* Unusual vintage home decor: Sculptural details, like the lion head canister, are exactly what make thrifting so exciting. You never know what you’ll find!
My decorating style is all about mixing vintage and antique-inspired home decor with collected pieces that tell a story. I especially love finding unexpected ways to style secondhand treasures and giving forgotten pieces a new purpose.
