Wooden Swing 2.0 | Bent Wood Porch Swing (Laminate Bending)
This is Wooden Swing 2.0 — an improved version of one of the very first woodworking videos I made fev years ago.
This time, I rebuilt the swing with several important upgrades to make it stronger, more comfortable, and more practical, with laminate bending technique.

🌲 About the Wooden Swing
This wooden swing was made as a custom order for a viewer of the channel, commissioned as a Christmas / anniversary gift.
It is crafted from laminate-bent larch wood, selected for its strength and excellent outdoor durability. Each curve is formed using a single template and carefully glued and clamped to achieve a smooth, continuous shape.
The seat boards run along the entire frame, allowing the swing to be used not only for sitting, but also as a cozy resting place. With blankets and pillows added, it becomes a perfect spot for relaxing on warm summer evenings.
The swing is surprisingly strong, comfortably holding two adults, and designed for long, relaxed moments outdoors.
Knowing this swing was built as a meaningful, personal gift makes this project especially special to me.
