In this video, I’m sharing the story behind my best-selling magnetic knife holders — and how I sold nearly 2,000–3,000 knife holders in the 4 years. "2020-2024"
It all started years ago when I made a floating coffee table that went viral. The illusion concept was powerful — so I adapted the same floating principle and engineered it into something more functional: a floating magnetic knife holder.
Today I’m showing you my two bestsellers:
• A floating knife holder made from exotic Zebrano wood
• A premium magnetic knife holder with stainless steel base and olive wood
These are not just knife racks — they are statement pieces for modern kitchens.
In this video, you’ll see:
• How I design and build high-end magnetic knife holders
• Why floating design creates a strong visual impact
• Why Zebrano and Olive wood are perfect for premium kitchen products
• The engineering behind strong hidden magnets
• How craftsmanship + design helped me sell thousands
If you’d like to see many of the cutting boards and magnetic knife holders I’ve made over the years, check out my Instagram. There are tons of boards, magnetic knife holders, and woodworking pieces posted there.

Thanks for sticking around and supporting the channel!
I also designed and developed several cutting board patterns that I shared completely free with anyone who wanted to make one themselves. From the very beginning, my goal was to inspire other woodworkers to try something new in their own shops.
Almost 10 years ago, I started experimenting with 45-degree cuts and created a few cutting boards with patterns that looked very different from anything I had seen before. One of those designs eventually became what many people now call the “diamond pattern” cutting board.
At the time, the name diamond pattern didn’t exist yet — that’s something that stuck later when people started referring to these boards that way.
As far as I know, I was one of the first — if not the first — to show this style of cutting board on YouTube. The original video that started gaining traction is still on my channel today, so feel free to check it out and see where it all began.
I’m really glad that so many woodworkers around the world have since tried making their own versions. Seeing people experiment with these patterns has been incredibly rewarding.
If you love woodworking, premium kitchen design, magnetic systems, or product building — this one is for you.
