Use the volume buttons to zoom in and out in the Camera app on your Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.
This tutorial shows you how to change the volume button function from taking pictures or recording videos to controlling camera zoom.
Steps:
- Open the Camera app.
- Tap the quick control icon.
- Tap the Settings icon.
- Under General, tap Shooting methods.
- Tap Press Volume buttons to.
- Select Zoom in or out.
- Return to the camera view.
- Press volume up to zoom in or volume down to zoom out.
Note: The same menu also offers Take picture or record video, which is selected by default, and Control sound volume.
