How to Make Calls with Weak Signal on Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra

S-Series School Guide Yesterday

Description

Struggling to make regular phone calls because of weak mobile signal? Here’s how to enable Wi-Fi Calling on your Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Wi-Fi Calling lets supported regular calls use your Wi-Fi internet connection. You keep using the Samsung Phone app and your usual phone number.
In this tutorial, I explain what changes when Wi-Fi Calling is on or off, plus the difference between Wi-Fi preferred and Mobile network preferred.

Steps:
- Connect your phone to Wi-Fi with working internet.
- Open Settings → Connections.
- Turn on Wi-Fi Calling.
- Tap Wi-Fi Calling → Calling preference.
- Leave Wi-Fi preferred selected to prefer Wi-Fi, or choose Mobile network preferred.
- Open the Phone app and make a call as usual.
- To disable it, open Settings → Connections and turn off the Wi-Fi Calling switch.

Note: An active SIM or eSIM and carrier support are required. Availability and charges depend on your carrier and plan. Wi-Fi Calling does not automatically make calls free.
📱 Device: Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra (SM-S948B/DS, International Version) running Android 17 Cinnamon Bun with One UI 9.0
