Description
Answer an incoming call or dismiss a ringing alarm or timer with your voice on the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra—without saying “Hi, Bixby” first.
In this tutorial, I show you how to enable Talk to Bixby without wake-up.
Steps:
- Open Settings.
- Tap Advanced features.
- Tap Bixby.
- Tap Talk to Bixby without wake-up.
- Turn on the switch.
- When a call, alarm, or timer rings, use a relevant command:
* “Answer phone”
* “Reject call”
* “Dismiss alarm”
* “Dismiss timer”
Note: The feature can respond to other people’s voices. Recognition accuracy depends on the device’s condition and surrounding environment. According to the feature’s settings information, commands aren’t sent to the server, and the data isn’t stored on the device.
It won’t work when:
- A Bluetooth device is connected, except a Galaxy Watch.
- DeX mode is in use.
- Another app uses the microphone for a call or recording, except navigation apps.
- Do not disturb is on.
- The phone’s temperature is too high.
