Description
Does your dog refuse to let go of their toy during a game of tug? Kayl demonstrates the perfect method to teach the "drop it" or "out" command using a simple trade game. First, build impulse control by having your dog sit and wait for permission before the tug game even begins. When you are ready for them to let go, stop pulling on the toy, place a piece of food directly on your dog's nose, and wait patiently for them to switch their attention to the treat before rewarding them.
