Once you've studied the figure, do you still feel trapped by needing to copy what you see? What if I told you that learning the figure is not supposed to keep you bound to reference. The old masters were able to break that trap, so why can't we? This video is the first step into that direction with some advice on how to advance the armature I have taught you in the figure drawing master class, my Imagine FX articles, and the videos and books I sell on my website and on Gumroad.
This new series shows you how to break away from the need to use reference so deliberately, and only have to rely upon it as inspiration, and some possible details that might not be too easy to memorize.

You should join the Discord channel where there is a great growing community of artists sharing their work and helping each other learn how to make art.
