Video Transcript:
Step 1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
Step 2. Scroll down and tap "General."
Step 3. Tap "Screen Capture."
Step 4. Find the CarPlay Screenshots option and turn the toggle switch next to it to on.
Step 5. Connect your iPhone to your car's CarPlay system, either through a wired USB cable or via wireless CarPlay.
Step 6. Take a screenshot on your iPhone normally. If your iPhone has Face ID, press the Side button and the Volume Up button at the same time. If your iPhone has a Home button, press the Home button and the Side or Top button simultaneously.
Your iPhone will automatically take two separate screenshots at the exact same time. One image will be of your regular iPhone display, and the other image will be your CarPlay screen. Both files will be saved in the Recents or Screenshots albums inside your Photos app, where you can view, edit, or share them just like any other picture.
