Description
Halloween is officially taking over my TBR! In this video, I’m building my ultimate Halloween book stack for October and showing you all the spooky, creepy, and nostalgic books I’m hoping to read for Halloween-o-thon.
This pile of possibilities is packed with Halloween-themed books, including hot new slashers like like Tastes Like Candy by Jessica Lacey, classic Halloween horror from Al Sarrantonio, short scary stories, middle-grade Halloween adventures, and even a few Goosebumps throwbacks for some warm nostalgia. If you’re looking for Halloween books to read in October too, feel free to read these along with me. :)
One book in the stack is breaking the Halloween-theme rule: Carrie by Stephen King. I’ll be buddy reading Carrie with Kat from Kat’s Novel Adventures as we prepare for our live discussion at the end of October. This will actually be my first time reading Carrie, and we’ll be talking about the book, its movie adaptations, and the new Mike Flanagan series on Amazon Prime.
The real question is… am I actually going to read all of these?! 😂

► ABOUT
Hi creeps! My name is Cameron Chaney. I’m a horror author (check out my books above!) and the host of Library Macabre, a horror-focused BookTube channel dedicated to horror book reviews, vintage horror paperbacks, and all things spooky. On this channel, I talk about everything from classic and retro horror books (including 70s, 80s, and 90s horror paperbacks) to modern horror, indie horror, and mainstream horror releases. If you love creepy reads, obscure horror novels, and nostalgic book content, you’re in the right place.
Not strictly a horror fan? No worries! I also feature other genres, book hauls, and nostalgic reads from time to time. I’m a huge fan of book collecting, especially rare and out-of-print horror paperbacks. You’ll also find the occasional horror movie review with my Cult Movie Macabre series, Halloween content, book and movie unboxings, and anything else that fits those cozy, eerie vibes. If it’s spooky, nostalgic, or bookish… I’m here for it. :-)
