Description
Halloween just isn't like this anymore... After the incredible response to our first trip through vintage Halloween catalogs, we're going back for another deep dive into the strange, spooky, and nostalgic world of Halloween from decades past.
This time, we're flipping through even MORE forgotten Halloween catalogs from the 1960s through the 2000s, uncovering pages filled with decorations, costumes, masks, party favors, horror collectibles, animatronics, and all kinds of bizarre Halloween artifacts that are just about impossible to find today.
We'll look at old catalogs from companies like Oriental Trading, Collegeville, Illusive Concepts, Halloween Outlet, and The Paper Magic Group, discovering everything from classic blow molds and creepy paper decorations to vintage costumes and truly strange Halloween products that you've probably never seen before.
And there's a LOT of nostalgia hiding in these pages: forgotten Goosebumps collectibles, Universal Monsters, Tales from the Crypt, Elvira, Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Michael Myers, and plenty of other pieces of horror and Halloween merchandise that perfectly capture what spooky season used to feel like.
Some of these things will bring back memories and some will make you wish you could go shopping in 1994. Mostly though, this is another excuse to slow down and spend some time together looking at old Halloween stuff. Because even as Halloween continues to change, there's something special about remembering the way it felt when we were younger, and discovering all the weird little pieces of Halloween history that have been forgotten.
So grab your favorite fall drink, get comfortable, and let's take another deep dive into the Halloween catalogs of the past.

► ABOUT
Hi creeps! My name is Cameron Chaney. I’m a horror author (check out my books above!) and the host of Library Macabre, a horror-focused BookTube channel dedicated to horror book reviews, vintage horror paperbacks, and all things spooky. On this channel, I talk about everything from classic and retro horror books (including 70s, 80s, and 90s horror paperbacks) to modern horror, indie horror, and mainstream horror releases. If you love creepy reads, obscure horror novels, and nostalgic book content, you’re in the right place.
Not strictly a horror fan? No worries! I also feature other genres, book hauls, and nostalgic reads from time to time. I’m a huge fan of book collecting, especially rare and out-of-print horror paperbacks. You’ll also find the occasional horror movie review with my Cult Movie Macabre series, Halloween content, book and movie unboxings, and anything else that fits those cozy, eerie vibes. If it’s spooky, nostalgic, or bookish… I’m here for it. :-)
