'Horror Tropical is a never to be seen B-horror film, dreamed up in 2022 by alternate drag artists, Vanilla Sawyer Angora Doll, Tomghast and Eddie I'm Home, while the film never came to be it found its voice in 2024 as an art book, created by a friend of the bar, Spent Pension.'
The culmination of my concept design major project 'Horror Tropical'. A love letter to alternate drag and B-horror film. A project made for perverts who can't go anywhere else, by a pervert who can't go anywhere else. I've been sitting on this opening credit since January, originally as a part of a bigger video essay I shelved. It's heavily based off Female Trouble's opening, which was also a huge inspiration for this project in general. ❤️🔥❤️🔥
