Hero MotoCorp has launched the new Xtreme 125R Stealth Edition with TFT in India at Rs. 1,16,250 (ex-showroom). This new variant introduces a 4.2-inch colour TFT instrument cluster, tyre pressure monitoring TPMS and revised styling adding to the motorcycle's equipment package. The biggest update is the introduction of a 4.2-inch TFT instrument cluster replacing the simpler digital display used on the earlier variants. This new screen supports Bluetooth connectivity and provides access to turn-by-turn navigation, incoming call notifications, SMS alerts and music controls. Another important addition is the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) with Hero claiming that the Xtreme 125R is the first motorcycle in the sporty 125cc segment to receive this feature. The system provides real-time tyre pressure information and alerts riders when the pressure requires attention. The Stealth Edition also receives a distinctive Midnight Black colour scheme with Pearl Red accents. Hero has complemented the new paintwork with coloured alloy wheels giving the motorcycle a more coordinated appearance. The overall design remains unchanged, although the darker finish gives the motorcycle a more sporty character. Mechanically, Hero has not announced any changes to the engine. Xtreme 125R uses a 124.7cc air-cooled single producing 11.4bhp at 8,250rpm and 10.5Nm at 6,500rpm paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The motorcycle also continues to offer dual-channel ABS. It also retains three riding modes, Rain, Road and Sport, allowing riders to adjust the motorcycle's response according to road conditions and their preferences. Cruise control is another feature carried over to the new variant.
