Because I have the Battle-Tested Axe, the entirety of the early to mid game boils down to "haha axe go brr" like I'm playing Hector in Fire Emblem.
Herminia's the first one I decided to go for, since her thirst for wealth fascinated me. I wanted to see how far she'd sink in her quest, and she definitely did not disappoint.
Auguste is by far my favorite of the three because of the depths of his depravity. While he does not go as far as Tytos does, his motivations, his deceptions, his friendhjship with Simeon, forcing the mother of his own child to choose between him and their son... all of those things just stand out in a particularly nasty way, in that I cannot stop looking at the mess he makes.
Tytos is an egomaniacal man, whose past is tied to Hornburg indirectly. That whole thing makes him especially notable among the cast, and so do the innumerable war crimes he commits, to the point the Geneva Convention becomes a Geneva Checklist.
I don't have much to say on the battles themselves since I was never in any actual danger, to be honest lol. Especially since I could use the accumulated ultimate skills on the mc lol.
I will say that Sazantos has some absurdly powerful skills, to the point he almost feels like a crutch. I'm curious to see how the game will unfold having a prarty member like that in our corner.
After filming this, I took the chance to go around Osterra, visiting every city, every available side dungeon etc. While there are some places I cannot access ie Atlasdam, I still was able to find some incredible things such as better gear, dragon scarf, a bunch of different skills, etc that made me even stronger than I already am. It sends shivers down my spine to think about the insane combos that can be doable even this early in the game, if you are smart about how you go about things.
