This game really had the final boss staring at us in plain sight this entire time. If you told the average person to guess what the final boss of the sequel to a French based Pokemon game would be, I guarantee most would sarcastically say the Eiffel Tower is it. And they'd be correct!
Hyperrogue Ange Floette is the true form of the Prism Tower of Lumiose in Pokemon Legends Z-A. But it is far more than that. Your rival, Urbain or Taunie, is stuck inside the tower while it hijacks Floette's moves. And you have to create an opening for 100% Zygarde to power up and land the final blow. To do so, you need to repeatedly attack the two flowers near the ground, and they are not easy.
You can make this fight significantly smoother by hiding behind the scaffolding, which drastically reduces how many moves can actually hit you, the player. Your Pokemon, however, is a sitting duck, so I hope you got a LOT of potions.
Thus comes the ending. We save the day, and all is well in Lumiose. Or is it? I am curious to see what the DLC holds. I really enjoyed this new twist on Pokemon battles and look forward to seeing what comes next.
