Description
The Shiny Charm has been a staple for pokedex completion ever since Black 2 and White 2 in the Pokemon mainline series. However, this game took it a step further. Mable is particularly merciless and predatory, forcing us to not only fill the dex, but also do almost every single research task.
If you do everything except for 1000 battle victories, you will be exactly 100 points short. This is honestly rough, and why I made a video showing a trick to get around it by having the game do them for you.
I decided to make my 1000th victory one against Jacinthe-- after 20 ticket matches in the Infinite ZA Royale, you can then face Jacinthe an infinite number of times in a row and earn a lot of EXP / money for it. You will even be healed between battles, if you decide to keep going. I do not know if you earn anything special for doing this 100, 200 times etc like the Eternal Battle Reverie in PLA, and honestly doubt it since she does heal us.
Also of note: Her Aurorus may use Protect, but a Plus Iron Head from an Adamant, max attack Metagross or Excadrill is enough to deal so much damage that it overkills even past Protect. Jolly nature will not one shot on low rolls.
She also does not seem to use Protect as often on Heavy Slam for some reason. I made this Alpha Metagross spread specifically to battle her lol
Anyway, I got the Shiny Charm. This means that I can really make it big if i decide to shiny hunt in PLZA. After catching 50 of every type of pokemon. After cleaning 1000 pieces of mega shards. After filling the pokedex, not as the end, but merely the prelude. I did it all.
