Description
Before the industrial age, Belgian farmers needed one dog that could do everything — herd, guard, and protect the family. The Belgian Tervuren answered that call and never stopped working. Today, Tervs are employed as military and police canines, search and rescue workers, service dogs, and champions at dog shows. Intelligent, devoted, and versatile, they thrive on hard work and challenging play — preferably alongside their owner. That dense double coat needs a good brush once or twice a week, and more during shedding season. This is a dog built for a job, and they’ll find one whether you give them one or not.
