Description
From Belgian pastures to military memorials, the Belgian Malinois has earned its reputation as the ultimate working dog. Originally bred as a livestock herder in northwestern Belgium, the Mal’s unmatched drive and intelligence made it the go-to canine for police forces, military units, and search-and-rescue teams worldwide. There’s even a life-size bronze Malinois at the Fayetteville, NC memorial to Military Dogs. Loyal, courageous, and incredibly smart — this breed thrives with confident owners who can match its energy.
