I flew Korean Air’s brand-new 787-10 Dreamliner from Vancouver to Seoul! Canada is a home to a growing Asian population and the YVR-ICN route twice-daily frequencies to match demand.
Korean began 787-10 operations in 2024 and intend to have 25 aircraft connecting Seoul to North America & medium-haul Asian routes. The cabin has 36 Business Class “Prestige Suites 2.0” in a 1-2-1 layout. The soft product could use improvements but I had a comfortable experience and enjoyed watching TV, sightseeing outside, and engaging with the friendly crew! For just over $2,000 USD it's an unbeatable transpacific price!
South Korea is a beautiful country and I recommend visiting, even if it's a quick stopover before your final Asian destination!
