Even the planets are parading for Sydney Mardi Gras. 🌈

Description

On 28 February 2026, Mercury, Venus, Neptune, Saturn, Uranus and Jupiter will appear lined up in the evening sky. It's a perspective effect caused by the way the planets orbit the Sun on the same plane.

This year, that shared moment happens to fall on the night of the Sydney Mardi Gras Parade; a celebration of collective joy and coming together. We’ll be there, marching proudly.

If you’re heading out, look west just after sunset to see the parade. 👀
