For this pattern you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona cotton colour (106) Snow White. A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook. A darning needle to weave in ends. Thread and needle to stitch the boy together and a pair of scissors.

The finished size will be 7cm wide x 12cm high (3” wide x 4.75” high) for the larger fishing boy, using 8 ply crochet cotton. The size of the fishing boy in Catona will be 8cm wide x 13.5cm high (3” wide x 5.25” high). The medium fishing boy will be 6.5cm wide x 11cm high (2.75” wide x 4.5” high) when using 4 ply crochet cotton. The small fishing boy will be 6cm wide x 9cm high (2.25” wide x 3.5” high) when using 2 ply crochet cotton.
