For this pattern you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona cotton colours (106) Snow White and (110) Black. A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook. A darning needle to weave in ends. Thread and needle to stitch the dalmatian together and black thread to embroider on the markings, mouth and whiskers and a pair of scissors.

The finished size will be 11.5cm wide x 13.5cm high (4.5” wide x 5.25” high) for the larger dalmatian pup, using 8 ply crochet cotton. The size of the dalmatian pup in Catona will be 11cm wide x 10.5cm high (4.25” wide x 4” high). The medium dalmatian pup will be 8cm wide x 9.5cm high (3” wide x 3.75” high) when using 4 ply crochet cotton. The small dalmatian pup will be 6cm wide x 7cm high (2.5” wide x 2.75” high) when using 2 ply crochet cotton.
