In my crochet tutorial today I’ll be showing you how to make this crochet fish applique.

For this pattern you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona cotton colors (201) Electric Blue, (173) Bluebell, (208) Yellow Gold, (106) Snow White, (110) Black and (280) Lemon. A crochet hook, I used a 2.5mm hook. A darning needle to weave in ends and a pair of scissors.
The finished size will be 12cm wide x 10.5cm high (4.75” wide x 4” high) for the larger fish, using 8 ply crochet cotton. The size of the fish in Catona will be 11.5cm wide x 10.5cm high (4.5” wide x 3.75” high). The medium fish will be 10cm wide x 8.5cm high (4” wide x 3.5” high) when using 4 ply crochet cotton. The small fish will be 7cm wide x 6.5cm high (2.75” wide x 2” high) when using 2 ply crochet cotton.
