Ultra-Shear's Carbide-Tipped Compression Pattern and Flush Trim Bits slice toward the surface of your material on both top and bottom, leaving a clean cut on both edges. It's a smart approach for all material, but particularly important when working with delicate veneered plywood. We have the bits in 1/2" shank with 3/4" cutting diameter and cut lengths of 1-1/4" and 2". In 1/4" shank, we have 1/2" diameter with a 1" cut length. With bearings both above and below the cutting edges, you can work with a pattern on either side of your work. The double-bearing design combined with compression geometry produces a bit that speeds up your pattern routing, minimizes sanding and avoids edge chipping and tear-out.
