“Memories” drives the way good tech house should, yet there’s a minor key heaviness underneath. Jinadu, the London singer and songwriter, lays the vocal over it and gives the track its emotional centre. A voice that has since been featured on well over 170 releases.
Simone Vitullo, a DJ and producer from Pescara, made it the lead track of his first EP for Poker Flat in 2018 and paired it with an instrumental version so DJs could run the track without the voice. We put it on our Best of 2018 and now it returns as our Classic of the Week.
