Frankey is Frank Beckers, one half of Frankey & Sandrino and the one with the formal music training. On his solo EP for us, “Dream” came with a kalimba, a rare guest on a Poker Flat record. The track is deep house with a unique momentum and the kalimba carries the melody right over the top. “Dream” was released in July 2019, the summer Poker Flat turned twenty. Seven years later we’re pulling it out of the crate again and this time you should too.
