Learn how to use and adjust the BMW Accessories Digital Rearview Mirror in the BMW 7 Series. Switch from a conventional mirror view to a live rear camera view for clear visibility while using the theater screen or rear window shade.
Switch to Camera View
The BMW Accessories Digital Rearview Mirror works like a conventional rearview mirror. Pull the lever toward you to activate the digital camera view, which uses the rear window camera to show traffic behind your vehicle while driving or parking.
Adjust Mirror Settings
Use the three buttons on the right side of the mirror to personalize the display.
Press the left Setup button to access display brightness, sway, tilt and picture rotation settings. Scroll through the menu with the left button, select an option with the middle button and adjust the display as needed.
For picture rotation, use the middle button to rotate the image counter-clockwise and the right button to rotate it clockwise. The slider indicates the selected position.
Press the left button to confirm your settings and the right button to exit the menu.
Use HomeLink Functions
The buttons on the left side of the BMW Digital Rearview Mirror can be used for HomeLink Car-to-Home automations.
