BJP Telangana President Ramchander Rao urged former soldiers who served the nation at the borders to continue contributing to society through social service.
Addressing a meeting of the BJP Ex-Servicemen Cell representatives at the party's state office in Nampally, Hyderabad, he called upon ex-servicemen to play an active role in strengthening the party at the grassroots level. He also emphasized the need to expand and strengthen Ex-Servicemen Cells in every district.
Ramchander Rao said the cell should take initiative in addressing the issues faced by former military personnel. He also called for grand celebrations of Kargil Vijay Diwas across Telangana on July 26.
