A state-of-the-art hospital building constructed at a cost of nearly ₹160 crore in Godavarikhani, Peddapalli district, remains incomplete despite being one of the region's most ambitious healthcare infrastructure projects.
The project was largely funded through Singareni Collieries' Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. However, officials estimate that an additional ₹100 crore is required to complete the remaining works and equip the facility with advanced medical infrastructure needed to serve patients.
Due to the shortage of funds, the hospital has not yet been made fully operational, leaving local residents waiting for improved healthcare services. The delay has raised concerns about the future of the project and the need for timely financial support.
