The epic saga begins in 1990 when a brilliant scientist and watchmaker, Dr. Sethuraman (Suriya), successfully invents a revolutionary time-traveling watch known as Project 24. However, his breakthrough triggers immediate tragedy when his ruthless, power-hungry twin brother Athreya (Suriya in a villainous avatar) raids his lab, murdering Sethuraman's wife Priya (Nithya Menen) to steal the device. Left mortally wounded, Sethuraman manages to protect his infant son Manikandan and the locked box containing the watch, handing them to a kind stranger on a train, Sathyabhama (Saranya Ponvannan), before tricking Athreya into a near-fatal explosion that leaves the villain paralyzed and in a 26-year coma.
Flash forward to 2016: Manikandan (Suriya's third character) has grown up into a witty, talented watch mechanic unaware of his royal lineage. When the mysterious key to the locked box accidentally finds its way to Mani, he opens it and unleashes the watch's reality-bending powers—including the ability to freeze time. Meanwhile, an aging, wheelchair-bound Athreya suddenly wakes up from his coma, obsessing over the watch to rewrite his destiny and regain his youth. What follows is a lethal, mind-boggling cat-and-mouse game across timelines where Athreya uses brutal manipulation, masks, and timelines to trick Mani.
