In Absolute Green Arrow #3, chapter three of the Longbow Killer arc and the halfway point of the six-issue miniseries, Dinah Lance hunts down Roy Harper — and what he tells her rewrites the entire mystery. Roy claims Oliver Queen was murdered by his billionaire friends, that Hammond stole his body, and that the experimental super-steroid Miracle — created by chemist Rex Tyler before his mysterious death — can resuscitate the dead. Roy believes they brought Ollie back. Between a militarized rooftop trap on the Green Arrow killer, the first Absolute Universe reference to Amiko Queen (Oliver's half-sister, the Red Arrow in the prime universe), a hidden laboratory beneath a private airfield, and a living man flattened on a table whispering for death, this issue escalates everything. And then, on the final page, a voice from the shadows says "Solomon Grundy" — and Absolute Solomon Grundy steps into the light for the first time, his body covered in the same eyes as the corpse found in Oliver's vault.
Why this issue matters: it contains the first cameo appearance of Absolute Solomon Grundy, the full reveal of the Miracle drug that explains Roy and Mia's transformation, and direct story connections to Absolute Batman #22 — two men digging up graves that may not hold who they're supposed to.
