Pakistan cricket is staring at a 3–0 whitewash against England after another disastrous day at Edgbaston. 🇵🇰😡
After Pakistan were bowled out for just 133 on Day 1, England completely took control of the third Test by piling up 453, giving themselves a massive 320-run first-innings lead.
Harry Brook scored 75, Dan Lawrence made 65, Jamie Smith contributed 69, and even Ollie Robinson joined the punishment with a half-century as Pakistan struggled to finish England's innings. Debutant Razaullah was one of Pakistan's few positives, finishing with four wickets.
But things somehow got even worse when Pakistan came out to bat again.
Pakistan were 0/2 after only FOUR BALLS!
Ollie Robinson dismissed Saim Ayub with the first ball of the innings before removing Abdullah Shafique three balls later. Robinson has now taken 21 wickets in the series at an average below seven, completely dominating Pakistan's batting lineup.
Shan Masood and youngster Azan Awais managed to stop the collapse temporarily, taking Pakistan to 52/2 before rain brought an early end to Day 2. Azan remained unbeaten on 29 while Shan was 21 not out.
Pakistan still trail England by 268 runs and need something extraordinary on Day 3 simply to make England bat again.
In this video we discuss Pakistan's disastrous performance, England's domination, Ollie Robinson's incredible series, Pakistan's failed team changes, Razaullah's promising debut and whether a 3–0 humiliation is now inevitable.
