The Companions رضي الله عنهم had the blessing of seeing the Prophet ﷺ, sitting with him, and learning directly from him. But what about those of us who came after them? How do we demonstrate our love for the Messenger of Allaah ﷺ?
In this powerful reminder, Abu Mussab explains that we don't have to wait for an extraordinary sacrifice to demonstrate our love. **We begin by obeying the Prophet ﷺ, following his Sunnah, and striving to avoid what he prohibited.**
None of us is perfect. We will make mistakes and fall short. But there is a difference between someone who struggles while sincerely striving to follow the Sunnah and someone who simply doesn't care.
The Prophet ﷺ also foretold the virtue of those who remain steadfast upon the Sunnah when others turn away from it.
So ask yourself: Are you striving to follow his guidance, even when it's difficult?
May Allaah grant us sincere love for His Messenger ﷺ, help us follow his Sunnah, and make us among those who remain steadfast upon the truth. Aameen.
