When George Reisner began exploring Giza in the early 1900s, he recorded three small structures now labelled G3a, G3b and G3c and known as the Queens’ tombs. Matt points out that the first is built in three levels, the middle one in four, and the last is smooth. In his reading, Reisner knew these were pyramids, and no evidence of a tomb was found in any of them. With three smooth pyramids standing above them, Matt asks what if none of it is accidental.
