I should mention that I threw away the romaine lettuce. I knew there was a recall on it a few weeks ago and thought it was cleared (since it was available to purchase) but when I did a google search I saw the recall was still active. Don’t want to take the chance! 👎🏻

I like to practice zero food waste as much as possible... so each week I "shop" my pantry/freezer first and buy only what we need to fill in the holes for planned meals.
