Description
Passengers aboard a whale watching boat in central California were treated to a special show over the weekend in Monterey Bay.
A pod of killer whales was spotted hunting a group of dolphins in a scene that is pretty rare for whale watchers.
The passengers aboard a Sanctuary Cruises Boat spotted the battle where adult orcas can be seen ramming a dolphin with enough force to send it clean out of the water.
The orcas themselves were even seen going full airborne in the pursuit.
