Viltrox AF 90mm f/2.2 EVO E 10Bit 4K Video Test (Shot on Sony FX30)
It’s only been 7 months since the first Viltrox EVO series was first introduced. First we had the 85mm f/2.0, then early April, we got the 35mm f/1.8 EVO and the 55mm f/1.8 EVO. And Viltrox doesn’t stop there. Introducing the 2 brand new lenses. The 75mm f/1.8 EVO and 90mm f/2.2 EVO.
These two lenses are made for APS-C/ Super35mm cameras. So the 75mm is around 112.5mm and the 90mm is 135mm. As you all know I’m always a big fan of portrait lens. The compression makes your subject pops. And it looks more cinematic. The 75mm f/1.8 does give you the better bokeh, but my personal favourite is still the 135mm focal length. And because both lenses are so sharp. I didn’t have to stop it down to get better result. This is why I mainly shot everything wide open on both videos
And again, the other reason why I like the EVO because of the weight. The 75mm is about 335g. And the 90mm is 320g. That’s nothing for a tele lens.
