Sacramento Regional Transit light rail train on the SACRT Gold Line first and the Union Pacific Railroad Florin Flyer Local freight train on the UP Placerville Branch switching at the Nimbus/Hazel/Aerojet Siding to run-around there train at the Nimbus Road railroad crossing in Rancho Cordova, California.
The phase 1 of the Hazel Avenue extension project is about to begin next year in spring 2027 but it won't affect this crossing and railroad tracks here yet. After that's completed, Phase 2 of the Hazel Ave extension project will begin and that's when the new crossing that's supposed to be built once was going to be named Atlanta Ave or St and removed and relocated the freight siding now had plans changed to be named Logistic Center Way and crossing which now will include both freight tracks and the single light rail track which will be interesting to see. They changed the plans because of funding and because the city doesn't was to wait on SACRT to double track this section due to an unknown date or timeframe when SACRT will be able to do that.
