Today, we are talking about luxury home scents.
When I first moved into my new luxury apartment, my number one goal was to make the entire place smell exactly like a high-end Vegas hotel—think the Aria, Caesar's, Vdara, or the Cosmopolitan right across the street.
Naturally, social media directed me to Diptyque. I went in, spent a guap on their candles and room spray, and... honestly? I wasn't crazy about it. I feel like the girls on social media are lying and just hyping it up because the name sounds cool and the branding looks good. Diptyque is officially overrated!
❌But then, this past weekend, my husband, daughter, and I were walking into Fontainebleau Las Vegas to grab some food, and a scent absolutely slapped me in the face in the best way possible. I ended up stumbling into Santa Maria Novella—the oldest apothecary in Florence, Italy, established all the way back in 1221. Y'all... my entire scent life has changed. 🤯 It was so good I went back two nights in a row!
