President Donald Trump continues his public spiral in full view of the world. His senseless war in Iran is accompanied by repeated declarations of victory, even as oil prices spike, missiles keep flying, soldiers are killed, and the global economy suffers. Yet he refuses to settle the conflict, apparently unwilling to accept what could be exposed as a humiliating defeat.
Meanwhile, tariffs imposed more than a year ago continue to disrupt supply chains and damage relationships with long-standing partners. He further humiliates himself and the United States by flattering dictators like President Xi, even as China assists Iran in its war against America.
Then there are the distractions: the helipad, the arch, the ballroom, and now renaming AISI, as though a name change addresses the potentially catastrophic risks of AI dominating the news. Add the absurd spectacle of banning the press, then complaining that reporters aren’t there, and the pattern becomes increasingly difficult to ignore.
Astrologically, Ketu—the South Node—moving over his ascendant has reflected this demolition of his public image, also visible in devastating poll numbers and longtime allies distancing themselves from him in their House and Senate races.
Ketu is now moving closer to his natal Mars, with the conjunction occurring almost exactly on the day of the midterms. I see this as a very bad omen for him, potentially signaling a devastating political defeat: Republicans losing both the House and the Senate, leaving him vulnerable to impeachment and placing substantial checks on his fascistic power grabs.
