An Eddsworld fan managed to sneak some Tord fanart into the Fifa world cup and everybody noticed.
This footage was captured by ITV during their coverage of the England Vs Norway quarter final match of 2026
With just 15 minutes to go, Norway's manager sends on Jorgen Strand Larsen, no relation. Cameras cut to the crowd of Norwegians and one of them is holding this beautiful artwork of everyone's favourite Norwegian: Tord from Eddsworld. Alongside this Red Leader logo in case there was any doubt about his identity
It was quickly noticed by everybody. Eddsworld fans posted it across all sorts of social media and it has now been seen by Eddsworld themselves and Tomska.
The artist goes by maka_flaka22 on TikTok
It's a legitimately great piece of fanart to be featured at the world's game and it was a very funny Tord jumpscare for anybody watching at home.
It won't be long until we're finding Tord fanart in European arthouse cinema...
