TomSka and Evan Edinger got into some quote-unquote “drama” and it was completely ridiculous.
In 2016 Evan Edinger made a video about the then recent death of his father and stuck on what exactly to call the video he consulted his YouTuber friend TomSka. He'd once had to make a similar video, so Tom suggested that Evan use that exact same title format.
A few hours later, Tom and Evan were out having a meal and some drinks at Nando’s when Tom decided to jokingly tweet about it, with Evan’s permission, of course.
Evan was in on the joke, Twitter was not.
People in Tom’s inbox were quick to call out the joke for being tasteless, meanspirited, and way too soon. And Evan who, need I remind you, was at the same dinner table as Tom at the time
Their friend Sammy was also there. He jokingly tweeted the story at Keematar, the de-facto YouTube Drama Channel of the day, the joke being that there was absolutely no conflict between these two... And Keemstar reported on it!
Looking back now, this was all just a bit of fun and nobody was seriously hurt in the long run,
The pair eventually clarified that it was all a joke and TomSka was quick to apologise to everybody who was understandably upset by his remarks.
He was actually vlogging as all this went down, and pretty soon the whole event was documented on YouTube for anybody who didn’t have all the context.
Even later made his own video about it and apparently the whole situation turned out to be the exact kind of humor that he needed in that moment
