Some crossings require fire.
On the longest day, the sun pauses at its highest arc. Litha. The threshold moment where fire and shadow begin their slow trade in the turning year.
Threshold Fire is a live ritual for that crossing, held on Zoom on June 21 at noon.
We gather at the solstice to work with what's burning: what's reached its peak, and what you're stepping into from here. The ritual opens with invocation and sound, moves into a brief mythic teaching rooted in Celtic fire tradition, then turns inward. Your candle is lit. Two questions live at the center: what is burning in your life right now, and what are you crossing into?
We sit with those in the sound. Then we journey.
Drumming carries you to the fire at your crossing. The journey is guided but not scripted. There's room in it for what only you can find. We close with sound, integration, and time to return before the conversation opens.
This ritual is designed to travel. The solstice is the occasion, but the threshold medicine works at every turning: the dark of winter, Samhain, Imbolc, Beltane, the particular moment you happen to be standing in right now.
Bring: a candle, something to write with, and an object that represents your threshold (optional).
