This is the first of three short films from Dakota Earth Cloud Walker, Celtic medicine woman and shamanic teacher, about the flinch so many women carry: the half-second hesitation before you say the true thing, the reach for permission before you'll stand in your own authority.
This first film names the wound. Where the brace comes from, why it was trained into generations of women who led and got called too much, and why you inherited it rather than earned it. No framework yet. Just recognition. The map comes in the second film.
It's for the woman who's done being quiet. The one ready to reclaim her power and her voice and put down the silence she was handed.
