This is a different kind of video for the channel.
Those of you who've followed along for a while know I keep my private life fairly separate from what I share here. But what's happened over the past two weeks is going to affect this channel for a while, and you deserve to know why.
My 16-year-old daughter has been diagnosed with stage 2 Hodgkin lymphoma. She starts chemotherapy next week.
I'm sharing this not for sympathy, but because this community has been part of our journey for years — and some of you have actually met her on our travels. You'll know she's one of the most positive people you could meet. That hasn't changed. If anything, watching how she's approaching this has made me proud in a way that's hard to put into words.
We're treating this as an adventure. Unwanted. Unplanned. But an adventure nonetheless — taken one day at a time.
In this video I talk about what this means for the channel over the coming months, what's on hold, what's still in the works, and where we go from here.
