▶️ The island offers them a haunted treehouse, a puzzle box that would not look out of place in a Hellraiser film, and a small girl who giggles and vanishes. That is three reasons to leave and zero reasons to stay. One of them establishes a firm policy on possessed ghost children inside of four seconds. The other keeps opening things. When a chained ghost skeleton refuses to let them through his door, both of them accept the ruling immediately, on the grounds that it is his place. the dead get manners here. the puzzle box gets none.

Two voices, one screen, one hospital that will not tell the truth. Cozy horror commentary, the kind of scared you can laugh through. Gibs drives. Olive notices everything and has already moved on emotionally.
