Tesla FSD just got approved in Europe for the first time — and the Netherlands is where it starts. I borrowed a Tesla Model Y for 48 hours to take it on a real FSD road trip through Amsterdam and then sleep in it overnight in the forest. Here's what actually happened.
I drove a Tesla Model Y on FSD from a forest camp spot onto a dirt road, through the middle of Amsterdam — cyclists, trams, tourists, chaos — then navigated to a supercharger, and finally out to a forest campsite. I covered two full days and two nights, sleeping in the car using the Snuuzu air mattress and running a Starlink Mini off a portable power station for internet on the road.
If you're thinking about FSD in Europe, car camping in a Tesla, or setting up a proper sleep system in a Model Y, this is a real-world 48-hour test — not a parking lot demo.
