In this video we try out the Okmo & Retrol model Lister D engine. The question is can I do it, can I get it started. Reading the instruction book I have to put oil in the model engine and it will apparently run off Zippo lighter fuel. The model Lister engine was sent to me by Stirling kits and its like nothing I have owned before. This is why Iam asking the question can i do it ? This model engine is based on the real Lister engine manufactured by Lister in Dursley Gloucestershire England. Initially manufactured from 1926 so this year is the 100th anniversary of this wonderful robust engine. Mainly aimed at the agricultural market this engine was very versatile reliable and robust. This video is for modellers. Amateur model enthusiast and people who appreciate vintage mechanical models.
