I am sooooooooooooooo lucky to have been approached by Connor to collab. He has this idea of making metal versions of classical music that're actually really good and not kitschy.... and trust me, this is probably the most fun accompaniment I've EVER played to for a classical piece.
Also, it was really awesome to get to post something on my channel that was actually really technically difficult. I've always posted arrangements of songs I like, with multitrack and pretty melodies ---- but nothing I can really viscerally sink my musical teeth into. Shostakovich's music allows you to do that though *___*.... That's one of the reasons why he's probably my favorite composer.
