Decided to do a few things experimentally for the first time with this.
- Freya Riding's lowest note in the song is a whole step lower than the violin's lowest note. Just write it for a different key to make it fit? NO! I made it scordatura and tuned all my strings down a whole step.... Playing notes in the right pitch suddenly VERY very difficult XD
- live recording with a multi-microphone (just two, haha) setup . . . I'm happy with how I managed to EQ this one!
- used a wooden mute to give tone color variation
- recording/playing with Rhodes piano
